What apprentices can do for you

Taking on an apprentice is good for business!

Research carried out by the National Apprenticeship Service (NAS) has shown that:

  1. Over 80% of people are more likely to use a business if it offers apprenticeships to young people
  2. Whether you offer apprenticeships is increasingly a factor in public sector goods and services procurement decisions
  3. 64% of consumers would use a register enabling them to choose a business that hires apprentices. After all, most of us know young people looking for their first job, and young people of course are consumers themselves and they are great to learn from if your business sells to a young market.

Promote the fact that you offer apprenticeships with an official employer certificate showing customers your commitment and support, and an employer badge to brand your websites, stationery and marketing materials.
