How to claim
In order to claim Housing Benefit, Council Tax Benefit or Second
Adult Rebate you must complete an application form and return
it to Bromsgrove District Council, Benefits Section, PO Box 7760,
Burcot Lane, Bromsgrove, B60 1AA with the necessary supporting
evidence.

If you have claimed Income Support, Jobseekers
Allowance, Employment and Support Allowance or Pension Credit
then your details may already have been passed to us by The
Department for Work and Pensions. If you are unsure if you
have made a claim for Housing Benefit, Council Tax Benefit or
Second Adult Rebate, please contact our customer advisors on

If you need help in completing the claim form please call into
our customer service centre as detailed above or contact a customer
advisor on (01527) 881288. Please note, in some circumstances
we may be able to visit you in your home to assist with your
claim. Please speak to a customer advisor to discuss
this.

NEEDED, YOU MUST COMPLETE AND RETURN YOUR FORM STRAIGHT AWAY AND
THE EVIDENCE CAN FOLLOW LATER. PLEASE NOTE, ANY DELAY IN
COMPLETING AND RETURNING YOUR CLAIM FORM MAY RESULT IN A LOSS OF
BENEFIT ENTITLEMENT. FAILURE TO PROVIDE THE NECESSARY
EVIDENCE IN SUPPORT OF YOUR CLAIM MAY RESULT IN THE WITHDRAWAL OF
