The Council has launched the ‘Blue Badge
Benefits in Bromsgrove’ campaign to highlight this to residents and
to visitors to the town.
Reminders will be put on signs in car parks to
coincide with new ones being put in place as place as the Council
takes over Civil Parking Enforcement from the Police from May
The campaign also includes Twitter feeds,
Facebook updates, website pages and press articles – and coverage
in the Summer edition of Together Bromsgrove.
Cllr Mike Webb, whose Portfolio covers
parking said: “The Blue Badge scheme is national but has
‘local’ benefits for each authority.
“We wanted to take the chance to update our
signs as part of the parking changes which are happening anyway so
there’s less cost to the customer and will build on this using as
many other free communication channels as possible.”
