Helping to reduce criminal activity and supporting the more vulnerable in our District.

Bromsgrove has a well developed and high quality CCTV system which currently operates over 100 cameras across the Bromsgrove district and Wyre Forest District Council. The primary locations for the cameras are in the town, village centres, car parks and railway stations.

The system is a real time colour system and operates in conjunction with radio link projects such as Shop Watch, Pub Watch and we have direct links to West Mercia Police both on the ground as well as their Central Operation Room in Hindlip.

The system was commissioned in June 1988 and is operated 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
