Bin Collection Changes - Coming in June 2013

IMPORTANT NEW INFORMATION FOR CUSTOMERS!

Today(6th June) we have discovered there has been a printer error and a small percentage of the information packs contained the wrong information.

All customers will be receiving a postcard with an apology, the correct calendar, the collection day and which bin is to be put out for the first 2 collections.

This card will arrive by 15th June in time for the changes starting on 18th June, the new online look up will be available on the website from Sat 15th June.

Again we would like to apologise to our residents for any inconvenience caused.

What is happening?

We will be making changes to bin collection rounds on week commencing 17th June 2013.
This may mean your bin day is changed, or for example, your green bin and grey bin collection weeks are swapped over.
It will also allow us to introduce a Recycling Service to some of the areas that don’t currently have recycling.

Why?

We want to be more efficient in the way we operate our bin collection services. Over the years as new houses are built, our rounds naturally absorb the increase; every now and then we need to review them to stop them becoming unbalanced and unmanageable.

By changing some days and weeks around we can be more efficient and:

When are changes taking place?

The changes will begin happening for Bromsgrove residents week commencing 17th June 2013.

Where are the changes happening?

Our crews have used their experience of the area and special computer software to work out new collection schedules, we now know what areas are affected and residents will receive a pack in due course.

How will I know if I am affected?

All households in the district that are affected will receive an information pack with their new collection details in, if you do have changes you will be advised of these, if you dont have any changes you will also receive a courtesy letter.

We will post information on our website, Twitter and Facebook so follow us for updates.

Please look out for your Information pack being delivered week commencing 3rd June 2013.

If your pack has not arrived yet it may be because we are delivering details to about 60,000 -70,000 residents across Redditch and Bromsgrove.

Please give us a call on 01527 881188telephone once you have received your pack if you have any worries or concerns we can help with regarding your collections.

Please bear with us through this transitional period, the page review system at the bottom of every web page will not be relevant to these pages as they are updated almost on a daily basis.

Thank You
