Dog Fouling - Scoop the Poop

Bromsgrove District Council requires people to pick up any faeces left by their dog on specific areas including public roads, footpaths and grass verges, parks and open spaces owned or maintained by the District Council.

If anyone does not remove faeces from land in these designated areas they may be issued with a minimum fine of £50.00 or they may be prosecuted. The maximum fine for such an offence is currently £1,000.

Bromsgrove Council provide designated dog bins situated throughout the district which are specifically for the disposal of dog faeces, it is requested that dog owners use these bins.  If no bins are readily available the dog faeces should be taken home and disposed of in a hygienic manner or it can be put into a designated litter bin.

If your local bin is full or you wish to report dog fouling please email sscsupport@bromsgrove.gov.uk or telephone the Customer Service Centre on  01527 881288.
