Housing Strategy for Worcestershire
We are delighted to present the attached Worcestershire Housing
Strategy 2011-2015.
"Housing is important to everybody and is essential to achieving
a good quality of life. This may mean something different to
each of us and may vary throughout our lives but generally involves
a safe, secure and affordable home with the right support. It is
true that many people are able to solve their own housing issues
without help and support from the councils and other agencies but
this strategy is about providing the right type of housing and
support to those who need assistance. The adoption of this
new countywide housing strategy is well timed as it comes alongside
the localism agenda being implemented by the new Coalition
Government moving from the era of the ‘Big Government’ into the era
of the ‘Big Society’."
