Supporting People
Supporting People is a government initiative aimed at enabling
vulnerable people with housing related support needs to live
independently in the community. Without this support a person
might be unable to manage their accommodation on their own.
The Supporting People programme aims to enable vulnerable people
to live independently by providing housing related support to
prevent problems that can often lead to hospitalisation,
institutional care or homelessness.
