Healthy Horizons - Activity Referral
Programme
Bromsgrove Sports Development have supported
the Primary Care Trust (PCT) and The Dolphin Centre in creating the
districts first Activity Referral Scheme.
The project is funded through Worcestershire
PCT and the Sports Partnership Herefordshire and Worcestershire to
provide local people with stable conditions the opportunity to
learn about getting active, nutrition, stress management and
lifestyle changes with professional instructors, whilst enjoying
the benefits of using the facilities and opportunities at the
Dolphin Centre.
Participants are referred through their local
GP or Practice Nurse and uptake in the Bromsgrove area has been
excellent.
