Welcome to Bromsgrove District Council information pages on
Shopmobility.
Bromsgrove Shopmobility opened in December 2005 and serves the
town centre of Bromsgrove. We are here to help people who find it
difficult to get around because of illness, age, accident, injuries
or disability and who want to visit the town of Bromsgrove.
Shopmobility offers customers the use of manual and electric
wheelchairs and motorised scooters.
The service we provide is free of charge.
Where are we?
Shopmobility is located on level one of the Churchfields multi
storey car park and can be accessed either from Churchfields or via
the pedestrian way next to Asda.

Registration
On your first visit to Shopmobility, all we ask is that you
bring with you some form of identification, which shows clearly
your name, and address e.g. utility bill or driving license. Once
registered you will be issued with a registration card, which we
ask you to bring when equipment is loaned for your use.
We will show you the equipment available and you will be given a
demonstration on the equipment which best suits your needs. We will
only send you out on the equipment once we are certain that you are
able to demonstrate your ability to use the equipment safely and
with confidence.
