Water safety in the home

If you discover that your water supply has stopped make sure all your taps are turned off by turning them clockwise.

In case of a major leak, you should know where your mains stopcock is located. It is usually located under the kitchen sink or near the front door.

If an overflow pipe is dripping water, something is probably not working properly. You should consider investigating.

Insulate water pipes to protect them from freezing and bursting in cold weather.
