Customers may see some disruption when visiting Bromsgrove as a new height barrier is installed at Parkside Car Park.

Work on the barrier is due to start from 26th May and is expected to last about a week. The car park will remain open during this time.

To reduce risk of injury or accident, visitors using the pay and display car park will be unable to use the normal one way system. Temporary signage will be installed to instruct visitors of how to get in and out of the car park but some queuing and traffic build up may occur, particularly at busy times.

Matthew Mead, Senior Engineering Technician, said: “We apologise for any inconvenience caused by the works and aim to keep disruption to a minimum. The work will ensure that visitors can continue to use the car park on a daily basis into the future.”
