Landlords in Bromsgrove are being offered an opportunity to be brought up to speed on recent changes in taxation, legislation and property standards at a free open event.

The Bromsgrove and Redditch Private Landlords’ Forum is set to hear about changes in Taxation, new legislation, such as the right to rent and ensuring properties meet safety requirement.
Presentations will be delivered by Rosy Hughes from Burgess and Bullock Accountants, the National Landlords Association’s representative Mary Latham and the Council’s Private Sector Officer Haroon Chaudhry.

Bromsgrove District Council’s Strategic Housing Manager Derek Allen said: “We see this as an important event for the landlords working in the Bromsgrove and Redditch area.
“We’re devoting more time to tax and legislative changes to help our landlords operate successful and compliant businesses and provide quality housing for tenants .”

The forum is set to take place at Bromsgrove District Council’s new Parkside offices on 21st April 2016 from 3.30pm to 6.45pm.
