Pregnant Women

New sessions for expectant parents will be starting in Bromsgrove from next week.

Early Help, in partnership with Health Visitors, will be running ‘Birth and Beyond’ sessions for parents to provide them with valuable information on what to expect during pregnancy and in the first few months after the baby is born.

The sessions will look at:

  • Getting to know your unborn baby
  • Changes you’ll experience
  • Giving birth and meeting your baby
  • Parents health and well-being
  • Caring for your baby
  • Who is there for you – people and services

Liz Griffiths, Bromsgrove Early Help Operational Manager, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for parents-to-be to learn about the transition into parenthood. We are delighted to be delivering these sessions in partnership with the Health Visitors.”

The sessions are free and run for four week periods and are suitable for parents from 28 weeks into pregnancy.

Sessions will take place at:

  • Woodrush Community Hub in Wythall on Wednesday’s 10am – 12pm from 25th May.
  • Tulip Tree Centre in Catshill on Tuesdays 10am – 12pm from 7th June.
  • Sunny Fields Centre in Charford on Mondays 10am – 12pm from 4th July.

To book a place or for more information, please contact your Health Visitor or the Tulip Centre.
