Queen 's 90th

Bromsgrove residents can show their patriotism and enjoy an evening of entertainment at the end of April in honour of the Queen’s 90th Birthday.

The festivities will be kicking off on Thursday 21st April at the Event Space on the High Street from 6.15pm.

Blackwell Wind and Concert Band will be performing between 6.15pm and 7.15pm and Bromsgrove Birthday Singers will be performing from 7.15pm – 7.30pm, before the lighting of the official HM Queen Elizabeth II 90th Birthday Beacon at 7.30pm.

Val Wilson, Arts and Events Officer, said: “Official beacons are going to be lit up and down the country on 21st April in honour of her Majesty the Queen’s 90th birthday. We are proud that Bromsgrove will play its part in the occasion and hope to see lots of residents and visitors celebrating with us.”

Cllr Rita Dent, whose portfolio covers the Town Centre, said: “This is always a brilliant event and I am sure this year will be no exception.”
