B16087 Internet Champion At Library All Week

Residents that want a little help to get online can talk to a special advisor in Bromsgrove Library this week for national Get Online Week.

‘Digital champion’ Paul Austin is available in the library at Parkside all week (17-21 October) to support anyone who feels they may need some help to start feeling the benefits of being online.

There’s also a free Wi-Fi access map of the district, to which visitors are invited to add anywhere they know that offers free Wi-Fi access so that people will be able to see it.

Cllr Geoff Denaro, Leader of the Council and portfolio holder for enabling services, said: “While it’s second nature to a lot of people, not everybody takes being online for granted. Cheaper bills, home deliveries, and keeping in closer touch with friends and family are just a few of the benefits and if all that’s needed is a bit of help and support, why not come and speak to our digital champion during get online week?”

Bromsgrove Library is open 9am – 5pm on weekdays, except Mondays when it is open until 7pm.

Outside of Get Online Week, if you want to enquire about support that is available to start accessing online services please contact us here.
