Two Bromsgrove town centre car parks will be closed for half a day each in March for essential maintenance.

On Wednesday 22nd March New Road car park will be closed from 7am until approximately 12 noon*, and Windsor Street car park from 1pm until approximately 6pm*, while Bromsgrove District Council repaints road markings and carries out general maintenance.

Guy Revans, Head of Environmental Services, said: “We are aware that both of these car parks are very well used and apologise for any inconvenience caused to visitors. We intend to get the work completed as quickly and efficiently as possible so that normal use can resume. This work is essential and aims to provide visitors to the town with a better parking area where space is used efficiently so we thank everyone for their patience during this time.”

Residents are asked to avoid using these car parks all day if possible, as they may experience access issues or cause the works to be delayed.

For more information on the closure contact Matthew Mead on 01527 64252 ext. 3345 or email matthew.mead@bromsgroveandredditch.gov.uk.
