A free public event to showcase opportunities for disability sports and activities in Bromsgrove District is coming to the Ryland Centre.

The Community Disability Sports Event will host clubs and groups to provide taster sessions and demonstrations of local sports that are available to disabled people of all ages and abilities.

Cllr Peter Whittaker, Bromsgrove District Council’s portfolio holder for Leisure, said: “We’re proud to support the strong grassroots disability sports community across the district and help it to grow with events like this. Whether you might want to try out new exciting activities or some familiar sports, there will be plenty to do across the demos and taster sessions from local clubs and organisations.”

The event, by a partnership of the district council’s Sports Development team and Bromsgrove Connect Services, is on Friday 22nd September from 11am - 1pm at the Ryland Centre on New Road in Bromsgrove.
