BDC Fireworks 2017

Visitors to Bromsgrove’s Bonfire, Music and Firework Spectacular this weekend are being invited to give their views on the event to help improve it for the future.

In recent years feedback from eventgoers has led event organisers at Bromsgrove District Council to change the site layout, improve the pathways, and change how tickets are sold on the gate.

Val Wilson, Events Officer, said: “It’s as popular an evening out as ever, and we want to keep it that way. Whether you liked something or thought it could be improved, please let us know. Your feedback is invaluable in helping to shape the future of the event.”

The short survey will be available at www.bromsgrove.gov.uk/bonfire from Thursday November 1 until 9.30am on Monday 19th November.

This year’s event is on Saturday November 3 from 5pm in Sanders Park, with music from the start, the bonfire lit at 7pm and fireworks set off at 7.30pm. The Major Toms, a David Bowie and Roxy Music tribute, will headline supported by local acts Trigger and Jasmine Rawlings.

Bromsgrove District Council hosts the event in partnership with Worcestershire cancer support charity Primrose Hospice, which receives a donation from the ticket sales.

Tickets are on sale from the Primrose Hospice High Street shop and the district council’s Parkside Customer Service Centre, and there will be cash-only sales from a High Street market stall 11am-3pm on Friday and Saturday (November 2 and 3), as well as at the overspill car park entrance at the event from 5pm. If you’ve already got your tickets on the night you can go straight through the normal main entrance.
