Customers and traders, old and new, are welcome back to Bromsgrove’s historic market which re-opens next week - but are urged to stick to Covid safety guidelines.

From next Tuesday (April 13) stalls are set to line the High Street once again to complement the eclectic mix of independent and chain-name shops and businesses, also set to re-open.

Customers are urged to socially distance around the stalls – and in shops – not to touch produce and to use hand sanitiser and wear face coverings, unless exempt.

Markets Manager Jonathan Smith said: “We can’t wait to welcome back our traders and customers but want to make sure our return to the High Street is done so as safely as possible and in line with Government advice.

“Our customers and traders have a part to play in this so please bear in mind the rules and let’s welcome our markets back to the town with each other’s safety in mind.”

The market is open from 9am til 4pm each Tuesday, Friday and Saturday.
