Sports Team Grant Scheme

Sports Clubs and organisations have been successful in accessing the Sports Team Grant Scheme which is funding to help support and develop activities, tournaments, new teams and leagues for ages 16+.

This funding stream is part of the UK Shared Prosperity Fund which is intended to help communities across the country, support people living or working in the UK.

The UK Shared Prosperity Fund is a central pillar of the UK government’s Levelling Up agenda and provides £2.6 billion of funding for local investment by March 2025.

The Fund aims to improve pride in place and increase life chances across the UK investing in communities and place, supporting local business, and people and skills.

Pan-disability football project that aims to embrace individuals with a variety of disabilities, ensuring they can actively take part in the sport.

Bromsgrove Sporting Girls are creating new teams and opportunities as part of their development pathway into their ladies football team.

Bromsgrove Rovers Girls AFC

Bromsgrove Rovers AFC are developing a girls U18 football team with plans to also start and open age women’s football team.

Catshill Football Club

Over 50s offering training and matches for more participants by forming an additional new team in readiness for playing within the Worcestershire Over 50s League.

Manor Badminton Community Sessions

After the success of our summer ‘Adults coaching’ sessions, we are delighted to confirm we are going to keep the momentum going with new Monday night community sessions.

Wythall Walking Hockey

Woodrush Community Hub are delivering a weekly 1 hour sessions on Fridays (1800-1900) at the Astroturf at Woodrush Community Hub, Wythall.

Bromsgrove and District Indoor Bowls Club

Bowls is a great game for people of all ages - why not give it a try

The club can offer taster sessions for disability groups alongside coaching to support players new to the game.
