Heritage Hunters Campaign, as part of the Bromsgrove and Redditch Heritage Open Days Festival 2026.
This privacy notice explains how we use your personal information if you decide to enter this event.
What data do we collect?
We will collect your name, email address, and phone number.
Purpose
We will use your information to:
- Track how many venues you have visited. If you have visited three venues by the end of the Heritage Open Days Festival 2025 (20th September) then you are eligible to enter the prize draw.
- Enter you into the prize draw
- Contact you to inform you if you win a prize
- Send you details of how to claim your prize
- Where you provide optional consent, include you in promotional materials
Your information will not be used for any other purpose.
Who will see my information?
Your information will only be seen by members of the Leisure and Communications teams for Redditch Borough Council and Bromsgrove District Council. Your information will not be shared with the venues you have visited.
Where you agree to be included in promotional material, your information will be made public.
How long will we keep your personal information?
Your information will be destroyed within three months of the end of the event (that is, by 20th December 2025). This is no automatic expiry for media consent.
Legal basis for processing
Our legal basis for collecting and using your personal information is consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
Optional Consent
You can choose to allow us to use your images or videos for promoting future Heritage Open Days and Heritage Hunters campaigns, on our website, social media (platforms to include Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, and LinkedIn), and print media.
If you do not consent, you can still participate fully in the Heritage Hunters competition.
If you chose to consent but then change your mind, you can withdraw your consent by contacting sportsdevelopmentenquiries@redditchbc.gov.uk
