School Primary Sports Project

Our Primary Sports Project can give your school a simple single solution to all your primary school sports needs.

We can provide your school with a 'one stop shop' for sport and physical activity by coordinating, promoting and providing sporting opportunities across the community. Our leisure and cultural services are in the perfect position to satisfy both your school's and the local community's needs, to help create sustainable opportunities for your children to continue to participate in sport.

We differ from private 'coaching' companies in that we are actively working with local clubs to ensure there are opportunities for young people to move into clubs and further activity.

Our aims include

1. To create opportunities for children and young people to participate in a fun and safe environment for a lifetime of sport
2. To work with local community clubs in sourcing coaches to deliver in the school setting creating school to club links
3. To support schools and teachers in the delivery of their school sports provision providing quality sports coaching and physical activity
4. To be a central point of contact or ‘One Stop Shop’ with officers on hand to answer phone calls from 9am – 5pm.
