Vandalism

Vandalism is a crime and Bromsgrove District Council seek to reduce vandalism as best as possible. The Council is aware that vandalism usually occurs within environments that are less cared for, perhaps places and spaces that have the following characteristics.

  • Places that harbour litter and detritus
  • Areas with insufficient lighting
  • Spaces where there is not much human activity
  • Potentially un-kept areas within the district.

Bromsgrove District Council decrease the possibility of vandalism by ensuring that public spaces are well maintained and free of litter and detritus, have sufficient lighting where necessary and hotspots are visited on a regular basis.

For more information on vandalism or to report a vandalism incident please contact Bromsgrove District Council Customer Services department. Please note that we will respond to acts of vandalism on public owned property. Vandalism occurring on privately owned property is not the responsibility of Bromsgrove District Council, you are advised to contact your local police station to report such an incident.
