CCTV

Bromsgrove's well-developed, high quality CCTV (Closed Circuit Television) system operates over 100 cameras across our district and Wyre Forest District, primarily in Bromsgrove town, village centres, car parks and railway stations.

The system talks in real time to Shop Watch and Pub Watch and has direct links to West Mercia Police officers on the ground as well as police central operations.

Since it was commissioned in June 1988 we have operated the system 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Bromsgrove Council appoints CCTV Single Point of Contact (SPOC) who's role is to act as the main point for anything related to surveillance camera systems.

Contact information for our CCTV SPOC and answers to frequently asked questions about CCTV is available here.
