Bromsgrove District and Redditch Borough councils began sharing
the services they provide to residents, and the management team
that operates both authorities, in August 2008. After a successful
trial period the full Shared Services project began on April 1,
2010.
Services already shared between Bromsgrove District and
Redditch Borough Councils:
- Payroll
- Procurement
- Community Safety
- Electoral Services
- CCTV Services
- Information and Communications Technology (ICT)
- Corporate Communications
- Corporate Policy and Performance
- Leisure Services
On June 1 2010 Bromsgrove District Council became the host of
Worcestershire Regulatory Services, a Worcestershire Enhanced Two
Tier (WETT) service that saw all seven Worcestershire
district, borough and city councils share their regulatory
services into a single service with local branches.
