e-Petitions
As of 15th December 2010, a change in the law requires the
Council to make available an online petition facility for use by
people who live in, work in, study or regularly visit the District.
The Council has pre-empted this by getting an e-Petition facility
operating a month in advance of this date.
An e-Petition is a petition which can be signed online.
The Council welcomes petitions and recognises that they are one way
in which our customers con inform us of their concerns.
e-Petitions are a quick and easy way of enabling this and
demonstrates the Council's wish to involve and engage with local
residents and visitors to the District. Anyone with an interest in
the District of Bromsgrove, whether you live, work or study here,
or even if you are a visitor, can create and / or sign an
e-Petition.
If you create an e-Petition, you will have to supply us
with a few details so that we can contact you about the
e-Petition. Information which is provided to us will only be
used for the purposes of dealing with your petition. If you sign an
e-Petition on this website, you will need to supply very basic
details so that we can 'verify' that signatures collected
are genuine, and only your name will appear on the web-site.
