Food Hazard Warnings
National food alerts are published by the Food Standards Agency.
These alerts may relate to a particular batch of food, which is
being recalled as a precautionary measure, or they may be general
warnings about products available which may pose a serious threat
to health and are being distributed through unknown channels.
National and local press normally carry details about food alerts
and they can be seen on the Food Standards Agency
website
Infrequently, alerts will involve local produce and in this case,
we will issue our own press release.
