Smokefree England

On the 1st of July 2007 Bromsgrove joined the rest of England in going Smokefree. As a result of the Health Act 2006 virtually all enclosed public places and workplaces in England became Smokefree including pubs, night clubs, cafes, cinemas, offices, work vehicles and factories.

It followed the successful implementation of Smokefree legislation in several countries including Scotland and the Republic of Ireland.
