Certificate of Lawfulness

For a formal determination on whether planning permission is required, you are invited to apply for a Certificate of Lawfulness under section 192 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990. A fee is payable for the processing of such  applications but you will be presented with a legally binding determination

How to apply

We are partnered with The Planning Portal to enable the submission of applications online. You will need to identify if your application relates to 'Proposed' or 'Existing' use to ensure the appropriate forms are selected.
