Statement of Community Involvement
Bromsgrove District Council adopted The Statement of Community
Involvement (SCI) on the 7th September 2006.
Community Involvement
The Statement of Community Involvement sets out how the Council
will consult and involve the community in the preparation of a
range of documents that make up the Local Development Framework as
well as public involvement in planning applications. The Adopted

Statement
In January 2006 we were informed by the planning inspectorate
that we hadn't provided enough evidence of compliance with the
requirements of the Regulation(s) 25 and 26 of The Town and Country
Planning (Local Development) (England) Regulations 2004. This was
due to an oversight when letters regarding the consultation period
were sent out. This has now been rectified after notifying all
those involved of this error in line with guidance from the
Planning Inspectorate, a copy of this advice can be downloaded
below.
