Draft Core Strategy

The most important document in the Local Development
Framework is the Core Strategy. We have produced a Draft
Core Strategy which presents the spatial visions and objectives,
for the future growth and development of the District until 2026.
It includes the core policies intent on achieving the vision
and presents the Councils’ method for managing change and
development in Bromsgrove.
A public consultation period was undertaken between
Friday 31st October 2008 until Monday 16th February
2009, allowing anyone who wishes, to get involved with the
District’s planning process.
A 'drop- in' event was held in the Council House on
Thursday 8th January 2009.
Presentations took place at regular intervals throughout the day
between 10am and 7pm. In between the presentations officers were on
hand to discuss any issues with you or to hear any suggestions you
may have. The day generated a good response with over fifty
attendees.
The Core Strategy will affect the places where you live, work or
visit so please get involved and make sure you have your say.
