Issues and Options
Original consultation on the Core Strategy issues and options
took place in the summer of 2005 since this time other issues have
emerged which we believe need further consideration. The Newsletter
below summarises the original consultation responses and also
highlights the new issues. These documents can be viewed at these
locations.
The issues and options documents highlight issues affecting the
District and options that could be used to tackle these issues.
Later policies will be developed to implement identified options.
At this stage we are only looking to identify the key broad issues.
Policies in the Core Strategy will not allocate sites or contain
detailed criteria to assess development proposals. Core Strategy
policies will set the broad framework for planning in Bromsgrove to
2026. Other documents produced as part of the Local Development
Framework will need to conform with the Core Strategy and provide
detail as necessary.

The official re-consultation period closed on the 24th August
2007. The new consultation period will come in the form of the
