Search for applications, decisions and associated documents

Where is my application?

We are currently changing over to a better way of working. Unfortunately during this change over period we are experiencing a temporary backlog.  Your application may not be registered yet. However once the planning case officer gets to your application you will be directly contacted and the application will be dealt with as speedily as possible.

Our ‘Public Access’ webpage enables you to view planning applications, associated documentation and submit comments online.

Important Information -Searching for applications

Search Criteria

The primary search criteria is the planning application number, which may be obtained from a site notice, neighbour notification letter, press notice or other forms of publicity. Where the application number is unknown use any of the other tab options, including the map to locate the site and application(s) of interest.

Receive automatic notification

Tip: If you create an account you can save your searches and be notified by email when applications meeting your search criteria are uploaded.

Viewing associated documents

When viewing details of an application navigate to the last tab entitled ‘Associated Documents’ and click on the wording ‘view associated documents’ to open a list of documents. Clicking each document should open that document.

Tip: Note that the number of records per view options, particularly for major applications may result in several pages of documentation.

Associated Documents- Limitations

1. Images of associated documents are only available for applications dated July 2008 onward. Documentation for cases prior to this period can be viewed at our offices by contacting email

2. Associated documents may not be visible because of delays in uploading, especially where the document size is greater than 5MB.

Tip: If the page you are viewing is showing documents associated with an application previously viewed click your refresh page option within your browser.
