Baseline Outreach Support

The Service aims to enable and empower young homeless people to attain independent living.

We can offer help with:

  • Obtaining and keeping your tenancy/licence agreement
  • Accessing help to furnish your flat
  • Accessing information about benefits
  • Basic skills, like how to use a cooker or washing machine
  • Rent arrears and help with budgeting
  • Filling in forms
  • Accessing other support agencies
  • Accessing training/employment and IT skills
  • Or an informal chat to talk things through, in confidence

A support worker is available at local hostel accommodation in the Bromsgrove and District area as below:

  • Holly Lodge Friday 12:00 - 1:00pm
  • Burcot Lodge Thursday 12:30 - 1:30pm

We also have appointments available at Bromsgrove District Housing Trust, Buntsford Court, Buntsford Gate, Bromsgrove, B60 3DJ

  • Monday 09:00am - 1:00pm

In addition, support workers will meet with a young person on a weekly basis in their own home or at a previously arranged meeting place.  This provides an opportunity to talk through what help they need, agree an action plan of how to achieve their individual objectives and facilitate this process.

A young person can access our services directly and we accept referrals from most local agencies with the agreement of the young person. For any additional information or to make an appointment please telephone 01527-832993 or e-mail info@basementproject.org.uk email us
