Arts and Events are part of
Bromsgrove Leisure and Cultural Services, run by the Arts and
Events Team. The services make a significant contribution to
the Council’s Vision and Values. Bromsgrove Arts Strategy
2010-2014

We are committed to improving quality of life and
to enhance local culture through the development and promotion
of opportunities for creative learning and enjoyment of arts and
events.

The Arts and Events Service includes the following key
activities.
- The coordination, development and direct
management of a range of formal and informal arts activities.
- Developing partnerships with the voluntary
arts sector, creative industries, learning providers and community
groups to increase opportunities to participate in arts activities
and events.
- Commissioning and project management of art
in public places.
- Promotion, coordination, development and
direct management of a range of events and festivals that reflect
the cultural diversity of the district.
- Promoting visitor attractions in the
district.
- Investigating and coordinating applications
for additional funding to enhance arts and cultural
opportunities.
