May to September

Events in July 2011

On Tuesday 26th July there was a poetry workshop for children on the Band-stand in Sanders Park as part of the Council's Summer Fun programme. For more information please click on the attached link.

Events in August 2011

Street Theatre will be taking place on the first 3 Wednesdays and Thursdays in August 10am to 14:30pm!

On Wednesday 3rd (Recreation Ground, Bromsgrove) and Thursday 4th August 
(Wythall Park), Street Theatre is visited by Titan the Robot!,

On Wednesday 9th (Recreation Ground, Bromsgrove) and Thursday 10th August (Hagley Park), we will be visited by Bruce Airhead! 

On Wednesday 16th August (Recreation Ground, Bromsgrove) and Thursday 17th August (Rubery Park), Street Theatre is visited by the Black Eagles!

Fundayz - October Half Term Monday 24th - Friday 28th October. 9am -3pm at The Dolphin Centre.  Cost £60 per week or £15 per day. Suitable for ages 5-14 years old. Download a copy of the booking form here Fundayz Booking Form

Events in November 2011

REMEMBER, REMEMBER THE 5TH OF NOVEMBER. GUNPOWDER, TREASON AND PLOT!

bonfie spectacularJoin us for family fun at the BONFIRE AND MUSIC SPECTACULAR that will be held on Saturday  5th November in Sanders Park, Kidderminster Road, Bromsgrove, B61 7JP from 5pm - 7pm.  The bonfire will be lit at 7pm followed by the firework display.

The event will include a bonfire, firework display, fun fair and music entertainment including the main act 'THE OFFICIAL RECEIVERS'.  Check them out on www.officialreceivers.net

Ticket prices £3.00 for children (children 2 years old and under free entry), £5.00 for adults (17 years old and above) and £14.00 family ticket (2 adults and 2 children)

Bonfire tickets are available from the Customer Service Centre  

Primrose Hospice shop in Bromsgrove and Rubery –Bromsgrove High Street/Town Centre Stall on Friday 21st October – Saturday 22nd October – 11 till 2pm, Friday 28th October and Saturday 29th October – 11 till 2pm, Friday 4th November – 11 till 3pm and Saturday 5th November – 10 till 4pm and then on the gates at Sanders Park on the night of the event.

CHRISTMAS LIGHTS SWITCH ON

Bring the family to see the annual switching on of the festive lights, prepare to countdown as Bromsgrove and Rubery are transformed by the twinkling lights of Christmas 

Bromsgrove Christmas Light Switch on Event will take place on Saturday 19th November 2011 from 3.30pm-5.30pm outside the Golden Cross Public House, Bromsgrove Town Centre.

Rubery Christmas Light Switch on Event will take place on Saturday 26th November 2011 from 4.00pm - 5.30pm in the public car park adjacent to the Co-op supermarket.

There will be a fun packed programme of entertainment from local entertainers, Father Christmas and his helpers.

Bromsgrove District Council celebrates LGBT history month. Come along and join us in February 2012 for our annual social networking event. More details will be available nearer the time.

International Women's Day will be held in the Spadesbourne Suite, Burcot Lane Bromsgrove, B60 1AA. For more information please click on 2011 poster attached, the 2012 poster will be available nearer the time.
