Hollywood Lane, Wythall
Hollywood Lane benefitted from a grant obtained from the Big
Lottery this enabled Bromsgrove District Council to revamp an old
outdated marshy play area into a new safe exciting playground for
junior adventure and toddler play.
The area is safe and secure overlooked by
residential housing consisting.
The equipment on site comprises of 2 Cradle
and tyre swings a tube slide, climbing wall, spiders net, cone
climber and a free rider a spider bin is in place to encourage the
children to dispose of their rubbish correctly and snake
bench has been installed for parents to sit in comfort whilst
supervising their children at play.
The marsh area has been made secure, fenced
off and converted into a bog planting scheme, species such as
gunnera, flag iris and marsh marigold amongst others have been
added to enhance the area and encourage wild life, this has been
done as part of the bio diversity pledge made by Bromsgrove
District Council.
This area has become very popular with
children and parents alike and is visited regularly by people from
outside the area.
