Lickey End Recreation Ground

just past the 1st school towards Burcot.
The site has been subject to a major overhaul including
refurbishment of the play areas funded by the Playbuilder Grant
scheme. Improvements have been made to footpaths and
a new nature reserve enhances the wildlife habitat, including
the endangered watervole.
The area also has 2 x Mini Soccer pitches used by Bromsgrove
Town F.C on Sunday Mornings.
Formal walks used by both casual walkers and dog
walkers.
The whole park is an ideal place for family fun or
relaxation.
The play area has a Spiders climbing net linked to a slide and
climbing wall, there are cradle swings for toddlers and a rope
swing for all ages a log balance and rope walk conclude the area
but just outside there are tunnels to encourage natural play and
adventure.
There is also a basket / net ball court on hard standing to
complete the experience.
Off road car parking and plenty of green open space makes this
park well worth a visit with something to do for all ages.
