Christmas Lights Switch-on and street party

Come on down to Bromsgrove town centre for this year's massive switch on when the bright, warm glow of the lights will bring a touch of festive sparkle and colour to the town, don't forget theĀ  street party afterwards! And it's all free!

BBC Hereford and Worcester's Malcolm Boyden hosts for 2018, with performances from local singer Becky Neale and Chloe Barry, the cast of White Christmas from Redditch Operatic Society, Chadsgrove School Choir, Artrix Songstars Showchoir, and the Theatre Workshop Choir.

It's 3.30pm to 5.30pm on Saturday November 17 outside the Golden Cross, and then a street party in Worcester Road kicks off afterwards with food and entertainment until about 8pm.

Plus there's the Primrose Hospice Tree of Light Switch On at 5pm outside ASDA, and it's also the Friends of St John's Christmas Market in town that day as well as the day before, Friday November 16.

It's a fun-packed day to kick off the Christmas season in Bromsgrove!
