We pride ourselves on the being part of a council. Our position has helped us offer our customers a unique commercialised service but maintaining the sense of security and trust as a local authority. We continue to grow our services year on year, always taking customer feedback into consideration.

Our friendly, approachable and customer focused team take away the hassle of managing a waste contract. We strive to build working relationships with our customers, creating a more flexible and personalised service.

This customer based approach allows us to move with the times and adapt. During the pandemic we supported our customers ensuring they didn’t incur any charges whilst closed. For us, the customer always comes first and our ability to tailor our service meant that our customers didn’t have to worry about business waste in an already stressful situation beyond their control

Good for the Environment

Statistics released by Recycle Now in July 2020 showed that through lockdown the UK has become even more environmentally aware,with nearly 9 in 10 households saying they ‘regularly recycle’. Coming out of lockdown, more people are prepared to change their lifestyles for the better and help the environment at 73 per cent, up from 68 per cent in 2019. An amazing 93 per cent of UK households say they believe that ‘everyone has a responsibility to help towards cleaning up the environment’. 

We believe businesses feel that way too, and why should you miss out? That is why, unlike a lot of organisations, we offer a full dry mixed recycling service which we launched a few years ago and has gone from strength to strength. Look out for our unmissable pink bins! This means you can reduce your carbon footprint and help your customers do their bit for the environment too.

And we practice what we preach, because as an organisation we believe that it is important to reduce our own impact too and have pledged to become carbon neutral by 2050. We’ve already started this process with the implementation of electric vehicle chargers, a growing fleet of electric vehicles and ambitious plans for a new natural heat network in the town.
