Pick Up And Pass On Help
Caring Bromsgrove residents are urged to ‘pick up and pass on’ useful numbers to friends, family and neighbours who they feel may benefit from extra help and support.
Working with partners the District Council has produced the card which will easily fit into a purse, wallet or a phone case and which showcases the contact details of groups and organisations which can offer help and guidance.
The card signposts people to where advice and possible extra funding can be found including the Council’s website where a more exhaustive list can be found.
Bromsgrove District Council Leader and Portfolio-holder for Partnerships Cllr Karen May said: “We want our residents to know what help and support is out there for them and also to signpost them to funding which they be eligible for.
“We also recognise that not everyone has access to online services sand by working with partners we have produced a mini directory for people to pick up for either themselves or to pass on to others who may need a little extra support.”
Partners including Age UK, Citizen’s Advice, ActOnEnergy and the District and County Councils are just some agencies on the card.
The card is available at the Council’s Customer Service Centre, Libraries, community centres and can also be picked up via partners. For more information visit Your Services Working Together For You
