UK General Election - 4 July 2024
A General Election has been called for Thursday 4 July 2024.
Nominations have now closed for the General Election. There are seven validly nominated candidates. Their details can be found in the Statement of Persons nominated below. This notice also contains the notice of poll and the situation of all polling stations that are going to be used on the polling day of 4 July.

Polling Stations

This will give you directions to your polling station.
Voter ID
Following a change in the law by the Government, you now need to show photo ID to be able to vote in UK elections.
If you do not bring photo ID with you to the polling station and produce it when asked, then you will not be able to cast your vote. You can find out more information on our voter ID webpage here.
