A local directory of servies so you can explore and uncover local provision nearest to you.

Bromsgrove and Redditch Network (BARN)
Signposts to a variety of voluntary sector services and helps find the right service if you need help to access food, furniture, school uniform, money advice, support when facing homelessness, disability advice and more. Call 01527 60282 or email office@barn.org.uk
Your local library can provide signposting and referral along with internet/wifi access.
Onside advocacy offers help to people facing disadvantage to ensure they are treated fairly as equal citizens, with equal rights and have access to all the right services.
Bromsgrove Social Prescribing Team
Lots of things in life can make you feel unwell or overwhelmed. One in five people who visit their GP or health care professionals have problems that can't be solved with medical treatment.

Bromsgrove Energy Advice Service
We provide a free impartial Energy Advice Service delivered by Act on Energy that helps you to cut energy bills, minimise home energy use, reduce carbon emissions and get advice tailored to you. Freephone 0800 988 288
Severn Trent Big Difference Scheme
If your household income is low, you may be entitled to a BIG reduction. If eligible for the scheme, you could receive up to 90% off the average Severn Trent water bill.

Support with food, furniture and household supplies
NewStarts provide a foodbank, free or low cost furniture, and household supplies to families and individuals who are in greatest need either on low incomes or in financial crisis. Foodbanks operate in from their sites in Aston Fields and New Frankley (covering Rubery).

Basement Project works with young people aged up to 25 and they have an Foodbank on site in Bromsgrove Town Centre.
Catshill Baptist Foodbank and White Goods
Volunteer run foodbank in Catshill. Help may also be accessed for white goods/household essentials.
Hollywood Christian Life Centre Foodbank
Available every Monday between 1.30pm and 2.30pm but call on 01564 822726 outside these hours as there is generally always someone available to help.

Mobile App that connects customers to restaurants and stores locally that have unsold food surplus which customers can buy at discounted prices.

Support for families
A leading national charity working with and supporting single parent families offering support around benefits, money management, debt and other issues commonly affect single parents.
If you are more than 10 weeks pregnant or have a child under 4, you may be entitled to get help to buy healthy food and milk if you are receiving a qualifying benefit. You can apply online for the NHS Healthy Start card.

Free childcare is available for some 2 year old children and all 3 and 4 year old children within Worcestershire.

DIAL In Worcestershire, is a free and confidential, independent charity, providing Information and Advice Services to those in Bromsgrove, Redditch, and Wyre Forest, on all aspects of living with a disability.

A part of the National Citizens Advice Charity working locally offering free, confidential advice and information about benefits, debt, housing and other issues.
Can support its residents with budgeting, employment and generic support. Contact us if you are struggling financially or worried about paying your rent and energy costs. You can also contact us for help with essential items, homelessness, skills and job clubs.

Worcestershire Safe Haven runs 7 days a week 18.00 – 01.00 and is based in the Redditch town centre. It provides telephone support and face-to-face appointments to Worcestershire residents who are experiencing a mental health crisis.
