Walkers can get into their stride at Bromsgrove District’s latest new health walk.

The Oakalls & Harwood Park Health Walk in Finstall is the latest addition to the range of free, volunteer-led, group health walks in the district and it starts on Wednesday March 30.

It’s the first of three new sessions coming this spring as extra health walks also gear up to launch in Blackwell and Stoke Prior, to complement existing ones in Lickey End, Rubery, Wythall, Bromsgrove, and now Finstall.

Cllr Shirley Webb, whose portfolio covers health and wellbeing, said: “Health walks are enjoyed by so many people already and it’s our pleasure to announce another one, this time in Finstall. They’re such a good way to get out, exercise and be social as well. And remember, the health walks are always looking for potential volunteer walk leaders – if that’s something that could take your fancy, just discuss it with the team.”

The steady, social walk will set off from the play area on Green Park Road, postcode B60 2RD, at 2pm every Wednesday.

This walk is an Active Bromsgrove health walk as part of the Worcestershire Walking Network partnership. Here's more information on this and other local walks.
