Bromsgrove’s BirdBox is set to spring into life with lots of furry favourites to stroke and see.

Youngsters – and the young at heart – will be able to learn all about the animals from the petting farm - and maybe have a cuddle – as the Council marks the start of Spring.

Animal-related crafts will also be available for keep-sakes to be created as well as food and drink from local vendors.

Bromsgrove District Council’s Portfolio for Leisure Cllr Michael Thompson said: “Sadly this Springtime session is the last in our series of Welcome Back’ events at BirdBox which follows last month’s very successful dinosaur capers and the Christmas markets.

“These events not only create a buzz in our town centre for residents to enjoy but it offer support to our local traders who felt the pinch during the pandemic.

“A few mini events are set to be held across the District’s centres for the rest of March as the Welcome Back Fund comes to an end.”

The series of events uses cash from the Government’s Welcome Back Fund as the District Council and NWEDR work together to spend the money across Bromsgrove’s centres under the ‘Your People, Your Places, Your Bromsgrove’ banner.

The event will be held at BirdBox on March 26 from 10am til 2pm.
