A Christmas message from the Bromsgrove District Council Chair Rod Leight

"I know it’s getting close to Christmas when I attend the Community Carol Service at St John’s Church which not only fills me with festive joy, but raises money for my chosen charity the Primrose Hospice."

"For many this year will hold challenges with the cost of living increases and soaring energy bills. I hope in this season of goodwill we can all take time to look in on our neighbours, friends and relatives to make sure they are not struggling."

"Maybe offer them a cuppa in a warm space, ensure they know what help is available to them, or just show them a friendly smile. A little goes a long way. I hope you all have a lovely day, whatever you are doing, and I wish you a Happy New Year."
