Memoriam Plaque Installed in Town Centre

A bench with a memoriam plaque has been installed in Bromsgrove Town Centre after refurbishment works were completed to rejuvenate the area.

The bench, situated on the corner of Chapel Street & High Street, is in remembrance of David Turner. David was the former President of Bromsgrove International Link.

Leader of Bromsgrove District Council, Cllr. Karen May said: “Bromsgrove International Link is a key part of our community and history as a town. It is wonderful to be able to remember David in the heart of our High Street.”

Bromsgrove International Link, also known as Bromsgrove & District Twinning Association, exists to promote friendship and encourage visits between people of the twinned towns.

Bromsgrove District is formally twinned with Gronau in Westphalia, Germany and with Saint-Sauveur-Lendelin in Normandy, France.
