Gambling is regulated to ensure that it is fair and open, to protect children and other vulnerable people and to prevent crime or disorder. If you want to carry out any regulated gambling activities you may need a licence.

Gambling licences are often closely related to Premises Licences and licenses for other forms of regulated entertainment.

Gambling for Good Causes

Certain small lotteries, bingo and other gambling done for fundraising purposes may not need licensing

If you are running a lottery or raffle to raise funds for sporting, charitable or benevolent purposes you may have to register it with us

Family Entertainment Centre Permits

Licensing arcades and similar premises providing gaming machines

Prize Gaming Permits

Providing certain low-level gaming where prizes are issued

Occasional Use Notices

Permitting gambling at tracks for short periods

Temporary Use Notices

Permitting gambling at non-licensed premises on a temporary basis
