Caravan/Mobile Home Site Licence

The Council collect personal information about you in order to fulfil its statutory obligations with regards to licensing.  You are applying for the licensing of a caravan site and we require the information to assess and determine your application.  The legal basis for this processing is a legal obligation to which the controller is subject.  This information is required under the Caravan Sites and Control of Development Act 1960.

The data collected is:

  • Name of owner / applicant / agent / details of previous ownership
  • Contact details

This information will be shared by members of staff in Private Sector Housing, with Planning, Building Control, Emergency Services, and as a license holder, information will be published on the Public Register.

The information will be retained for the lifetime of the license or until the site no longer exists.

This information will not be shared/sold to any other service/organisation unless we have a duty to do so under law. This data will not be transferred outside of the EEA.
